Baby fever

Kyle dropped on me today that he wants to throw caution to the wind and start trying for a baby! :] I'm not sure if I should be excited or scared! I'm not sure if a baby is a good thing. I'm super happy. I hope that we marry first though so I don't have to worry about fitting in my dress. But I can't wait to be a mommy whether it is now or in 3 years

Oh and we changed our date a year later 11/3/13

reflection

For me this week has been all about reflection. I've spent a lot of this week reflecting on my life. Reflecting on the last 2 years. While I was in the shower today I was thinking about what I thought my life would be and how it is now.

If 2 years ago you would have come to me and said. "Kendall I know what your life is going to be like." I would have told you to tell me about it

Now if you we're to say, "Kendall, you will be 19, engaged, getting ready to marry in to the military, living with him, living in a different city than one that you've ever known. You will have learned more about love from a stranger than from some one you know, you would not have a really good best friend, but you would be friends with girls from all over the world who will be there to laugh with you, cry with you, celebrate with you, be sad with you, give you advice and tell it like it is." I would have told you that you need to go to the loony bin.

With that being said I have people to thank.
My parents
My brother
My Amazing fiance who puts up with my shit
My friends
Katie Wade
My wedding bee's who let me ask dumb questions and answer them for me :]

And last but not least my military sisters! Ladies you amaze me every day! Thank you for always being there for me. There is never a dull moment with you ladies

Thank you

I've been wanting to write this for a while but either haven't found the time or the words. I really need to say thank you to this AMAZING woman named Katie Wade.

Katie lost her husband Chad to the war in Afghanistan on Dec 1, 2010. I couldn't ever imagine losing Kyle. She has a blog that I read pretty often. (http://katieandchadwade.blogspot.com) I swear she needs to write a book. I would wear that book out reading it so much. Without even knowing it Katie has taught me so much about life and love.

Katie wrote in one of her blog posts "I'm living the life of a war widow." This isn't the life she asked for. She expected her husband home. Not to be having Marines show up at her door telling her that her husband was not coming home. I read her blogs and her facebook. She only wants one thing. Her husband home. Not all the money and material things that most of us want. One person. Her heart, her hero, Her husband Chad. If you took one look at the pictures of her and Chad you would see how in love they are. You can just see it in their eyes. They were meant for each other. Soulmates.

So Katie Wade. Thank you. Thank you for teaching me that people are important not possessions. And how to love my future husband. If I could bring Chad back to you I would. You are the most amazing person ever. Chad is a Hero and always will be.
